Advertentie Specialist - Marketplace Advertising (Bol.com & Amazon)
Work with growing ecommerce brands and large marketplace sellers to create measurable results through campaign management, advanced optimization and FiveX AdMAX tooling.
You help ecommerce brands and marketplace sellers turn marketplace advertising into a repeatable profit workflow, not isolated dashboards.
Day to day you work hands-on with campaign structures on bol.com and Amazon, collaborate with customers who operate serious SKU catalogs and translate spend into outcomes FiveX can measure beside contribution margin and operations.
About the role
FiveX connects marketplace commerce data with advertising, repricing and profit workflows. In this role you own execution across Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and related placements where relevant, together with testing cadences that teams can sustain weekly.
You coordinate closely with customer stakeholders, often founders, marketplace leads or agency counterparts, to prioritize bids, budgets and optimizations aligned with inventory, pricing pressure and profitability signals surfaced in FiveX.
This position suits operators who like accountable outcomes: clear hypotheses, measurable lifts and pragmatic timelines rather than slide-heavy consulting.
How you work with FiveX AdMAX
AdMAX is part of the FiveX cockpit for marketplace advertising automation and optimization. You use it to monitor spend efficiency, structure campaigns for scale and reduce manual spreadsheet workflows.
You are expected to explain trade-offs in plain language, ACOS and ROAS matter, but so do fees, returns and operational constraints that determine whether revenue is profitable.
What you will do
- Plan, launch and optimize marketplace advertising campaigns on bol.com and Amazon for assigned accounts.
- Run structured testing on bids, bids by placement, budgets and targets where the catalog supports it.
- Translate customer goals into weekly execution priorities and clear reporting views inside FiveX.
- Collaborate with FiveX product and customer success on recurring optimization loops and tooling feedback.
- Document campaign rationale and changes so teams can audit decisions across accounts.
What we look for
- Hands-on experience managing marketplace PPC, preferably bol.com Retail Media, Amazon Ads or both.
- Comfort working with feeds, catalog-heavy accounts and performance metrics such as ACOS, TACoS and CPC.
- Structured communicator in Dutch and English with customer-facing patience.
- Ability to work from Amsterdam hub alongside the team when collaboration matters.
Nice to have
- Experience with ecommerce brands or agencies managing multi-marketplace portfolios.
- Exposure to profitability analytics, contribution margin or finance-ready reporting, not only media metrics.
- Familiarity with automation rules or in-platform APIs from an operator perspective.
