FiveX MCP documentation

FiveX MCP is a commerce MCP server that lets MCP-compatible AI agents access supported commerce data and tools across connected marketplaces, advertising channels and ecommerce systems.

This documentation covers how the MCP server works, how to authenticate, how tools are discovered and how permissions govern access. For product positioning and business use cases, see the FiveX MCP product page.

Overview

What is FiveX MCP?

FiveX provides an MCP server that allows MCP-compatible AI agents to access supported commerce data and tools across connected marketplaces, advertising channels and ecommerce systems.

Product

Commerce MCP server

FiveX MCP sits between the AI agent and your commerce stack so agents can work with cross-channel context through one controlled connection.

Boundary

Context vs reasoning

FiveX MCP provides tools and commerce context. The connected AI client performs reasoning using the returned data.

Connection

Endpoint and authentication

Connect MCP clients to the FiveX MCP server with a bearer key or an OAuth flow when the client supports it.

MCP server URL

Authentication

Use Authorization: Bearer <FIVEX_MCP_KEY> from the FiveX MCP setup screen, unless the client supports an OAuth flow.

Channel access

Connected channels stay disabled for AI access until your team enables them in FiveX.

Features

Key features

FiveX MCP is designed for commercial workflows where AI needs useful context, but access still has to stay controlled.

Channel access is controlled

Connected channels stay disabled until your team enables them for AI access.

Cross-channel commerce context

Expose supported Amazon, bol, Kaufland, Otto, Shopify, Meta Ads, Google Ads and related data through one MCP endpoint.

Works with MCP-compatible clients

Use clients such as Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, ChatGPT-style agents and other MCP-capable tools.

Read-first by design

Start with analysis, reporting and tool discovery before allowing operational write actions.

Channels

Popular channels and data surfaces

FiveX MCP is strongest when it can combine commercial context across the channels your team already operates.

Marketplace

Amazon and bol

Ask about orders, products, channel performance, inventory and marketplace operations.

Advertising

Google Ads and Meta Ads

Review campaign performance and connect spend to revenue, margin and stock context.

Commerce

Shopify and ecommerce systems

Bring storefront data into the same AI workflow as marketplaces and ads.

Analytics

Profitability and reporting

Work with SKU economics, margins, P&L signals and channel-level reporting.

Use cases

Example use cases

Use MCP to turn marketplace questions into fast, context-aware AI workflows.

Marketplace performance

Ask which products are losing margin after ad spend and stock are taken into account.

Inventory risk

Ask which fast-moving SKUs may run out before replenishment arrives.

Advertising review

Ask which campaigns deserve budget, pausing or investigation based on profit context.

Cross-channel comparison

Compare the same SKU or brand performance across Amazon, bol and other supported channels.
